Airlines with Flights to Bermuda
There are eight airlines that make regular trips to Bermuda.
These include the four major US airlines with American Airlines, Jet Blue and Delta making daily visits for most of the year while United Airlines offers seasonal flights during the summer. As of 2023, local airline BermudAir, has started service to multiple US destinations and Canada since early 2024.
lIf you’re looking for flights to Bermuda from Canada you’ll be able to book flights through Air Canada or BermudAiras WestJet no longer flys to the island. The schedule for Air Canada varies throughout the year with service from Toronto while BermudAir is slowly increasing flights to Toronto in addition to Halifax; a route which has not been available on island for over a decade.
For visitors from Europe and beyond, British Airways is the only regular flights to Bermuda scheduled from outside of North America. There are flights on Sata Air that are available a few times during the summer and Christmas period.

Gateways to Bermuda
Most of the flights flying to Bermuda come from the US. There are many cities along the Eastern Seaboard that offer direct flights to the island. Of those cities New York, Charlotte and Atlanta are the most common routes. You can also book flights from Boston, Philadelphia, Newark and Miami depending on the time of year. When flying from these cities, flights are usually between 1.5 – 2 hours which makes Bermuda a much closer island destination than those in the Caribbean.
Outside of the USA, you will be able to catch flights to Bermuda from Toronto or London year round and the Azores less frequently.

Bermuda’s Airport
The new terminal at L.F. Wade International Airport was opened in December 2020. When arriving to the island you will be able to buy duty free items once you’ve gone through Bermuda customs. Taxis will be waiting for you outside the terminal if you haven’t arranged a pick up in advance. When departing it is recommended to arrive 2-3 hours before your scheduled flight. Travellers heading to the US will go through US Customs on island meaning there’s one less thing to do when you arrive at your destination.
